MICRO-DERMABRASION

What does Micro-dermabrasion involve?

Micro-dermabrasion has become probably the most popular technique for skin rejuvenation, due to its simplicity and effectiveness. Operating by means of a closed loop vacuum system, the machine delivers a precisely controlled volume of aluminium oxide crystals to the point of application, then instantly whisks away the exfoliated tissue along with the used crystals to a disposal container.

How long does the treatment take?

Facial treatments usually take about 30 minutes. Face and neck about 40 minutes. Backs of hands around 5 minutes.

How many treatments will I need?

A normal course of micro-dermabrasion treatments varies between four to six treatments ideally at weekly intervals. After your initial course of treatments we recommend you schedule an additional treatment every four to eight weeks to maintain the improved condition of your skin.

Micro-dermabrasion is ideal for people with:

  • The desire for a treatment that doesn't interfere with outdoor or social activities
  • Skin that tends to stay scaly or dry
  • Sensitive skin that reacts with make-up or chemicals
  • Superficial discolouration or brown spots
  • Oily or acne-prone skin

Cost of Treatment- £40 per session
