GENERAL ADVICE
Although we take proper safety and health precautions and use
the best techniques available we obviously have no control over
the way that people look after their piercings, nor over the way
a client's metabolic system may react afterwards. We will do our
best to help anyone with a piercing problem but cannot guarantee
the results. If you feel there is a reason why you should not
have this treatment you should tell the therapist before commencement.
AFTER CARE
-
Always wash your hands before coming into contact with the
pierced skin.
-
Using a solution of clean warm salted water (1teaspoon salt
to 200mls water) bathe piercing twice a day.
-
Do not remove the piercing for up to 12 weeks.
-
Do not remove any scabs that may form.
TREATMENT OF INFECTION
Infection is usually indicated by a combination of swelling, redness,
pus discharge and sensitivity to touch. It is always advisable
if you get an infection in a piercing to contact your GP immediately.
Please note that all piercings are carried out
on the understanding that they are done at the client's request,
and on the condition that we will not be responsible for anything
that may arise from any work done in good faith. You will be required
to sign a consent to this effect.
